As a vice president of Krusinski Construction Company, Jennifer’s primary focus is business development and continued growth in all markets with a focus on healthcare and senior living projects. Krusinski Construction is a design/ build general contractor and professional manager of construction services based in Oak Brook, IL. Founded in 1973, the company delivers a wide range of healthcare, multi-family/ senior living, industrial, corporate office, retail, recreational and religious projects in the Chicago metropolitan, midwest regional and national markets. With more than 15 years of experience in the architectural design and construction industry, Jennifer’s professional expertise assists Krusinski in its efforts to secure future projects and build long-term successful client relationships. In addition to her role with Healthcare Institute, she is an active member of the American Society of Healthcare Engineering and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Johnson specializes in the delivery of real estate services to both healthcare providers and investors across the country. He has more than 20 years of experience dedicated solely to serving the healthcare real estate industry. His extensive experience includes several leadership positions at Rush University Medical Center and national healthcare brokerage and development firms.
Shah has worked as an architect for more than 20 years in the Chicago market, focusing on the healthcare market for the last 13 years. He believes that building a long term relationship and trust with hospital leadership and user groups, via collaborative process and clear communication, is vital for the success of any project. He holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from UIC.
Arndt has a background in both architecture and engineering, with 24 years of experience in the design and construction of complex healthcare projects. He has worked on over $1.2 billion in healthcare projects, ranging from medical office buildings to replacement hospitals, and has worked with many of the leading Illinois hospital systems to advance their mission and sustain their growth. He is a regular contributor to industry publications and has worked on research teams focusing on sustainable design and construction in capital projects and entrepreneurial culture within an organization.
Basel Christopher is responsible for the business development of Haworth Health Environments, educating members of the Heathier Hospitals Initiative and sharing knowledge of trends in the planning of interior healthcare spaces. She believes that knowledge empowers, and that learning leads to progress and growth of individuals and their organizations. Basel Christopher has previously been involved with the International Facility Management Association, having served as Membership Committee Vice-Chair on the Board of the Chicago Chapter of IFMA.
The Chicago Council was organized by Toni Gatz, Healthcare Market Manager at BOS, a director of the HCI board and a member of its leadership team. Gatz continues to serve an instrumental role in managing the council, and brings to it her more than 14 years of business development and leadership expertise, a high level of ambition, and a passion for improving the overall patient experience.

Jenny brings to Graybar 13 years of sales and business development experience and has worked closely with architects, consultants, subcontractors, owner representatives and tenants. Her strong customer service approach has served both her company and clients well. In addition to her role with the Health Care Institute, she is an active member of CoreNet Chicago, the Healthcare Engineers Society of Illinois and the American Society of Healthcare Engineering.

Chuck Haas has been a Team Tovar Snow Fighter since 2007. He had already graduated from Illinois State University with a B.S. in Construction Management when he started as an evening dispatcher. Since then he has held many different positions while climbing the Company ladder. He now holds the title of Regional Director of Business Development. During his time at Tovar, Chuck has learned virtually every facet of snow and ice management. This knowledge and experience, along with his continuing education, are assets to Tovar. He continues to build and maintain relationships with former, current, and potential clientele. He has over 20 years in leadership positions in facilities maintenance and construction services with national and local firms while using his M.B.A. in Marketing from Northern Illinois University and a B.S. in Finance from Illinois State University. Lillibridge Healthcare Services, Inc.
Carla heads up Marketing and Communications for Lillibridge. She is responsible for defining, communicating and protecting the Lillibridge brand - and she is deeply involved in employee engagement. Carla has been with Lillibridge since 1996 and is a member of the Executive Leadership Team. She is active in the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and is a member of the Board of the Health Care Institute, Chicago chapter. Prior to joining Lillibridge, Carla was with Pyrce Healthcare Group, a behavioral healthcare marketing firm, and HCA Riveredge Hospital, a private psychiatric hospital in suburban Chicago. She is a graduate of Rasmussen College.

Kimberly is responsible for developing and managing national relationships for Inside Edge as a National Account Executive. She works extensively with multi-location accounts in Healthcare, Senior Living and Retail segments; offering extensive knowledge and value to National organizations in need of managing multiple project locations regarding flooring installation and related services. Kimberly has a comprehensive professional background in architecture, interior design and commercial interiors finishes spanning more than 20 years with a focus in Healthcare design. She is also a LEED Accredited Professional with specialty and past president of IFMA Northern Illinois.
Steve Nargang, PE is Principal of Gage Consulting Engineers. He has a combined 25+ years of design, engineering, project management, technical sales and business development experience - with background in mechanical engineering & project development across a range of industries & applications. He leads the efforts towards overall growth of his firm - through expansion of technical services, and campaigns targeting larger & more diverse engineering projects. Steve is responsible for implementing the firm's strategic and marketing plans, leading business development towards further growth of long-term client and partner relationships.
